The location of the accommodation was perfect for our Easter getaway. It was surrounded by beautiful countryside, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby walks and boat hire. The community shop onsite was a great convenience, providing us with everything we needed without having to bring it with us. Additionally, the high spec kitchen and bathrooms in the cottage were impressive and added a touch of luxury to our stay.
One downside was the noise from the upstairs accommodation, which could be quite disruptive at times. It seemed like they were having a marathon up there every evening!

A visit to Thatcham was made even more memorable with our stay at Manor Farm. The cottages were a perfect blend of charm and comfort, providing a cozy home away from home for our family. The kids absolutely loved exploring the fenced-in Orchard, and my wife and I appreciated the careful restoration of the historic site. The high-spec kitchen and bathrooms were a pleasant surprise, making our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the community shop just across the courtyard was a delightful addition, offering excellent food and drinks. We can't wait to visit again!
My wife says that it would have been great if the accommodation had a few more family-friendly essentials, like children's cutlery and plates. It would have made mealtime with the little ones a bit easier.

We loved the careful restoration of the historic site and the high-spec kitchen and bathrooms. The fenced-in Orchard was a great feature for hanging clothes out to dry, and the community shop across the courtyard had excellent provisions and food options. The village had a wonderful community feel, with an 11th-century church next door and a playground and large playing field within a 3-minute walk. The walks and boat hire in the area allowed us to explore the beautiful countryside.
Felt like part of the family, nothing to complain about.

I recently stayed at Manor Farm Courtyard Cottages for a weekend getaway. The restoration of the historic site was careful and considerate. The high spec kitchen and bathrooms were a luxury. The fenced-in Orchard was a great feature for hanging clothes out to dry. The community shop across the courtyard provided excellent provisions and delicious food, smoothies, and juices. The village had a wonderful community feel, with an 11th-century church next door and a playground and playing field within walking distance. The walks and boat hire in the surrounding countryside were stunning. The onsite community-led cafe was a godsend, offering homemade quiches, salads, pastries, and cakes. We canceled our dinner plans to eat at the local pub, just a stone's throw away, which served delightful, high-quality food. I can't wait to return to both the cottages and the pub. Thank you!
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

We got amazing value for our money at Manor Farm Courtyard Cottages. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a high spec kitchen and bathroom. The location was great, with a wonderful community feel and plenty of nearby activities. The staff, especially Jessica, were friendly and helpful.
The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if they had provided more teabags and essential cooking items like oil and foil. But overall, it was a fantastic stay.

Loved the outdoor activities like cycling and birdwatching. The free Wi-Fi was great for browsing John Lewis Reading's website. Sharing amenities with strangers was a delight. Such a diverse crowd!
Missing the marathon runners upstairs and the limited opening hours of the local pub. So disappointing!
